Dearly beloved we are gathered here
like shuttle fragments reentering tragic atmospheres
shattered glass scattered by our past and fears
whose shadows cast nets that capture the mass of fractured years

you and me just dust and debris
until we trust and believe
in His love and decrees
we are,
the sunken treasure they discover in seas
These,
are my semi philosophical neurological chronicles

Of tangible grace,
the kind you can taste when the mandible breaks
under the weight of the sin it displaced
like when I'm wrestlin and tempted to question sufficient grace

I'm taken aback perhaps awakened in fact
That you chose our skin to be the place to put Your face on the map

Compared with the weight of glory the mountain before me is minuscule
conceptually integral to recognize this life simply ephemeral in general
so this present tension is merely temporal
heavenly throngs shower the groom with approval and
an immutable chorus of epic proportions with Heaven divorced of worldly distortion
and properly proportioned by scores of formerly Fatherless orphans
who partake of praises and communion in conclusion of this holy matrimonial union
between a bride and the Lion of Judah who finally brings her to Him
as a rescuer from doom and ruin
a change of plans and transformation of coroner to coronation

Awakened by the fragrance of carnations at my funeral/
a glimpse of something so stunningly beautiful affirms that
praying through pain is therapeutically musical
hardened heart that was forged in the crucible/
beating and bruised, yet immovable, a new song is suitable

So let this heavenly melody readily envelope me
in visions more majestic than our collective eyes could ever see
a wretched me now impeccably erected as an effigy
to the Hand who snatched the heart out of this sunken chest
because He treasures me

In lieu of flowers consider the lilies
Vividly fitting the very dictionary definition of pretty
to put it simply, even the splendor of Solomon's empty
Just like the tomb evidently
even death is elementry in the wake of risen Victory
